For the most part, only wet field conditions will affect Friday's prep football games.

However, the fact that Metro Nashville schools were closed Friday, the Overton at Stewarts Creek football game has been moved.

Riverdale defeated Franklin 24-7, avenging losses to the Rebels the past two season. However, senior quarterback Chrisitian Suffront sustained a leg injury on a 36-yard run. He was taken off the field to an ambulance.

The Smyrna Bulldogs defeated Wilson Central 43-10 Friday night. The Bulldogs put up 43 points but their defense was even more impressive. The "D" was led by junior Tevin Shipp, who had a sack and two defensive touchdowns in the game.

Siegel senior running back Leland Wilhoite had 13 carries for 111-yards and four touchdowns to lead the Stars to a 43-2 win over county foe Stewarts Creek.

The Stars were "aligned" most of the game in all phases - offense, defense and special teams.
