  3. Voted to elect Mike Reed as President of the Board of Control. Voted to elect Jerry Mathis as Vice-President of the Board of Control.

The postseason accolades continue to stream in for the Riverdale Lady Warriors and their lone senior. Anastasia Hayes was named the Gatorade State Basketball Player of the Year for Tennessee.

Riverdale girls basketball coach Randy Coffman was named this year's Naismith High School Girls' Coach of the Year. The announcement came Monday, just a couple of days after his Lady Warriors won their second consecutive state championship.

Bryan Barrett and Jon Dinkins had the call of the game on NewsRadio WGNS.

Riverdale will play for their sixth state tournament championship on Saturday after defeating Houston 69-50.

Stewarts Creek led most of the game, but a tying three to end regulation and one to send it into a second overtime finally propelled Dickson County to a 67-64 win.

The defending Class Triple-A girls state champions built a comfortable lead against Morristown West and cruised to a 75-46 win.
