Siegel junior short stop Drew Benefield was selected the Class AAA Mr. Baseball for 2017.
The Louisville commitment hit .519 with 35 runs driven in and seven home runs this season.
He was joined by Clarksville's Skyler Luna and Jordan Fowler from Dyer County as finalists.
It's the third year for the award, which saw Siegel's Jacob Key a finalist last year. It's sponsored by the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association. The award was presented at MTSU's Reese Smith Jr. Field Monday (5-23-17), prior to the start of Spring Fling baseball state championship play.
