Oakland girls basketball coach Jennifer Grandstaff is stepping down as head coach.

She's spent over two decades as the Lady Patriot's head coach and led them to four state tournament appearances, finishing runner up twice.

The most recent was the 58-54 double overtime loss to Blackman in the state title game back in 2015.

Grandstaff has nearly 550 career wins. She coached at Moore County before coming to Oakland. She resigned in 2002 to become an assistant at MTSU for one season before returning to Patriot Drive.
