Stewarts Creek High School announces the selection of Bert Browne as the next head football coach for the Red Hawks. Browne, a former Tennessee Tech standout quarterback, brings over 27 years coaching experience at both the high school and collegiate levels in Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, and most recently Georgia.



During his tenure in Tennessee, he was named Region Coach of the Year, and while in Kentucky, was District Coach of the Year twice. Browne's collegiate coaching experience includes Eastern Kentucky University and Tennessee Tech. In addition, Browne was the offensive coordinator at both the University of West Georgia and Holmes Community College in Mississippi.

"I could not be more excited for the future of our football program under the leadership of Coach Browne. I'm proud of the foundation we've built to this point, and with our collective commitment to excellence, I know we will achieve even greater levels of success next season and beyond," said Principal Dr. Clark Harrell.

Browne is a native of Richmond, Kentucky where he graduated from Madison Central High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Tennessee Tech and a Master of Science in Physical Education from Eastern Kentucky University.
