Oakland rolled to 7-and-0 with a 41-7 win at Franklin Friday night. The Patriots defense held the Rebels to just over 100-yards before the last two-minutes when they connected on their only score of the game.

And two of their big first half plays were on fake punts.

On the offensive side of the ball, senior tailback Jeron Rooks averaged 10-yards per carry in the game. He had 13 carries for 133 yards and two touchdowns. When the Rebel defense keyed on him, especially in the first half, quarterback Timmy Goodrich was able to bust some big plays. He had seven carries for 99-yards and two touchdowns (22 and 15 yards). Oakland racked up 469-yards in total offense while holding Franklin to just 188 for the game.

The Patriots will travel to Siegel in Region 3-6A play next Friday night in "The Battle for 231." We will have the game here on NewsRadio WGNS.

Oakland QB Timmy Goodrich seven carries for 99-yards and two touchdowns, plus 3-of-4 passing for 34-yards.
